Some years ago, before she was stolen by Corpus Cristi, TX, the USS Lexington was the flight training carrier for the Navy and was home-ported at Pensacola. For many years Brown Marine Service tugs assisted the Pensacola Navy Yard based tugs to dock and undock her. She is missed by many folks in Pensacola.
