This used to be the contact page for Brown Marine Service, Inc., which was incorporated by Capt. Shirley Brown in 1958 as a tugboat and barge company.

After the death of Capt. Brown in 2005 the family decided to reorganize the business and sell off all but the Marina & Boatyard and also to retain some of the investment real estate. Brown Marine Service, Inc. was dissolved but the Marine and Industrial Supply division was rolled into the Marina boat yard division and reincorporated into the present Audusson Marina, LLC using the name of Pelican Perch Marina & Boatyard and Brown Marine Suppy.

Shortly after his father's death, Ted Brown formed TBH Holdings, LLC and is working with waterfront real estate as well as the Power Plants that Mr. Estill Lunsford markets.

The Brown Family still owns various pieces of prime waterfront real estate suitable for development in Pensacola, Florida and in Orange Beach, Alabama.

Born in 1951, recieved his Eagle Scout award in 1968. He received his BA at Auburn University in 1973, was commissioned a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Army and served 2 years at Ft. Eustis, VA as a Platoon leader, Operations officer, and Supply Officer of an Army watercraft company (tugboats, ships, & barges). Upon returning to Pensacola in 1976, Ted joined Brown Marine Service, Inc., the family business which at that time was mostly engaged in the transportation of petroleum products in barges on the Gulf Coast.

Ted received his MBA from the University of West Florida in 1982 and remained in the U.S.Army Reserve until the early 1980's and earned the rank of Captain. Ted worked for his father's company as a licensed Florida Yacht Broker, Coast Guard licensed Tugboat Master, and President of Brown Marine Service, Inc. He served as a Florida State Harbor Pilot Commissioner from 1992 through 2001.

After his father's death in 2005, Brown Marine Service, Inc. was dissolved and Ted changed the old Brown Marine Website to better represent the Maritime recreational and historical assets of the region.

His company, TBH HOldings, LLC, has developed and opened the Becks Lake Fish Camp in Pensacola and he intends to develop other waterfront properties.

Ted is active in the Rotary Club, Salvation Army, Pensacola Historical Society, the effort to build the new Pensacola Maritime Park and State Maritime Museum, and is a member of the Shrine and Scottish Rite. He is married to Kathy Horton-Brown who recently retired after practicing law as a board certified wills and probate attorney for over 20 years. Ted enjoys boating, hiking, computers, photography, and nautical book collecting.

Estill has a degree in Sales & Marketing from the National College of Business in Rapid City, SD and has over 40 years experience in marketing and sales of equipment world-wide. He has 18 years of marketing, sales, and teaching commercial aviation for Piper Aircraft Co. and also has 10 years experience in marketing aircraft instruments, navigation equipment, engines, and aircraft (both new and used). He is married to Gena, who is responsible for customer and vendor development at Brown Marine.
