W. W. Walker was known for his leadership as a commercial fisherman and for his operation of the Walker's Boat House on Bayou Texar in East Pensacola Heights.
He married Elnora Le Poidevant April 17, 1901 and their children were: Ethel, Douglas, Wilmer, Lois, Oliver, Kathleen and Maurice.
