Captain Benito Julian Rocheblave

Born March 11, 1861. Died February 2, 1942.

A sea faring man of much importance to Pensacola. He was the Captain, part owner and operator of the famous tug Monarch. He made successful trips to Cuba carrying arms to those fighting for freedom before the Spanish American War.

He married Catherine E. Worthy and they had a wonderful family composed of one son William H. and 5 daughters, Ruby, Jessie, Clara, Aline and Mildred.
