View of Pensacola's Waterfront

This view is of the new city marina while it was being constructed. The marina and breakwater was paid out of a special sales tax that financed transportation related projects around Pensacola. The old municipal auditorium would be to the left and Port Royal Condos would be to the Right. The area in the photo is known as the Baylen Street Slip area. The tug and barge in the background is a typical sight as Pensacola is on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway at approx. mile 185 west of New Orleans.
